Education is a complex undertaking, and all questions and information are useful. School Board candidates and administration praise transparency and accountability; that means an active public seeking out information and participating in dialogues, meetings, and task forces. Always we remember: our efforts are for the benefit of the students, the schools, and the community.
Please stay tuned as Citizens for Excellence in Public Schools participates in WCASD life, observes School Board meetings, comments on students’ and taxpayers’ needs, and continues to grow alongside other local groups with similar missions.

“Public schools are important not because they serve the public, but because they create the public” — quoted by Susan Carty, LWV forum, 10/27/09.
